Brasil is the largest country in South America and the fifth largest country in the world (by both geography and population). The Brasilian economy is also one of the worlds largest and is also one of the fastest growing. The wealth of natural resources Brasil is sitting on has caused many to take note while some even predict it to be the next global power. Things are looking up for Brasil as the world begins to take note granting them two of the worlds biggest sporting events in the next 6 years.

Katrina Relief
Hurricane Katrina was responsible for over 1800 deaths and has cost America over $81 billion so far. Many states were affected by this hurricane, with New Orleans, LA receiving quite a bit of press over the damaged levees, but the eye of the storm hit the little town of Waveland, MS and caused more damage there than in any other gulf town.
